1 1/4 cups rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
3/4 cup coconut
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tspn cinnamon
125g butter
1/4 cup water
2 tbspns golden syrup
1 tspn bicarbonate of soda
Preheat the oven to 150 derees.Line 2 tins with baking paper.
Combine the driy ingredients (first 5 things)
Put the butter water and golden syrup into a pot and heat unti l the butter melts. Take off the heat and stir in the bicarb soda.
Pour into the dry ingredients and mix well.
Put teaspoons of the mixrure onto a try, about 5cm apart (they spead in the oven) Flatten a bit.
Bake for 22-25 minutes. Flatten then when they come out of the oven - it makes them crisper!
